Ingredients

  • 8 oz no salt added tomato sauce
  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp fresh ground black pepper
  • 4 Tbsp brown sugar (packed)
  • 2.5 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp ground mustard
  • 1.5 tsp lemon juice
  • 1.5 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ cup water

Instructions

  1. Whisk together all ingredients in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat until the sauce simmers. Reduce heat to low and let simmer, uncovered, for about 1 hour or until the sauce has been reduced by half (down to about 1.5 cups).
